Vanilla Rosemary Lemonade

One of our favorite summer drinks!
  • 1½ C sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 sm rosemary sprigs
  • 3 C water
  • 3 C fresh lemon juice (25-30 lemons)
  1. Combine sugar, vanilla, rosemary springs, and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and let cool 30 minutes. Pour through a fine, wire-mesh strainer into a large pitcher, discarding solids. Stir in fresh lemon juice. Cover and chill for a few hours. Stir before serving.
