Recipe type: Beverage
Prep time:
Total time:
Serves: 8-10
  • 1 pinch of baking soda
  • 2 C boiling water
  • 4 family size tea bags
  • 1 C white sugar
  • 6 C cold water
  1. Sprinkle a pinch of baking soda into a 1-gallon, heat-proof, glass pitcher. Pour in boiling water. Add tea bags and cover. Allow to steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and discard. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add cold water, stir, and refrigerate until cold.
  2. Note: We like to use Luzianne Decaffeinated iced tea bags in our rig. Baking soda is the secret ingredient that my Grammy used to always make smooth, refreshing iced tea. Enjoy!
