Gram's Freezer Corn

Another old family recipe from my Gram's kitchen. We put hundreds of ears of corn up every July and August to get through the following year.
  • 6 quarts of corn cut-off cob (24 cups)
  • ¾ C sugar
  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • 4 C water
  1. Combine ingredients in a large pan. Cover and keep storing to bring to a boil for 8 minutes. Cool immediately. (I like to plunge the pan in a sink of ice,) When completely cooled, package and put in freezer.
